May 8th is the day!
In order to send a Boys team, and a Girls team, from each grade level...EACH team MUST have a volunteer coach! Only teams with a coach can attend the MOST AWESOME RELAYS!! It is easy to coach: Pick a time, Pick a few days a week, for 3 weeks, take your team of 6 out to the park next to our school, take 4 cones plus a baton with you and...WAH-LA! You have a 20-25 minute practice watching them hand-off(properly :)!
I am teaching them hand-offs right now during PE, they will know how to do this, they just need to practice as a team so they SHINE during the race :)....email me or leave a message in the office, we love our volunteers!!
The Relays are a 'Go', rain, shine, wind, sleet, snow!!
