Our students had a great end to a school year! We ended with 'baseball'(a mini whiffle ball unit) out on grassy area. 'Big Base', and 'Beat the Ball Home', they did awesome!!
I also was able to collect up all the student photos I had taken throughout the school year(almost 900!!)and put them into a delightful 35 minute slideshow, which was enjoyed by entire school in our "P.E. Movie Theater", complete with big screen and terrific music : ). The students sang along, they clapped, they giggled, and truly enjoyed seeing themselves 'at the movies' : ). Staff was included in the slideshow, along with video clips of music, and kindergarten performances.
On a different note, our school is in the midst of changes with staff, 18 will not be returning to teach at our school in the Fall. I have also been let go by our administrator.
I would like to hear from students/school families on how summer is going, and throughout next school year! A good way to contact me is through the info I passed out to all students on a small half sheet of colorful paper they put into their backpacks the last day of school.
I will miss our wonderful dedicated staff, as they have become friends and truly a joy to work around! Despite the sad news of not returning to teach PE, I had and still have much joy for what I do, a passion for teaching young children that can not be taken away.
