Spring must be just around the corner if its time to start training for the Awesome 3000! I love this event. Every year, thousands of children converge on McCullough Stadium for the largest children's run west of the Mississippi. Every finisher gets a medal and over 400 volunteers make the day run like clock work. Even better, the proceeds from the event go to fund innovative teachers and their classrooms. If your child hasn't run before, they are missing out!!
