TAKE A CHANCE...TRY SOME DANCE!
Students have learned a stretch, balance, dance piece using wood dowels, they did awesome!
Next up are the Ribbon dances, one with very long ribbons, a group performance, the other with 10 ft. ribbons, kids love using these!
The Pirate drama/dance went really well, the students loved visualizing a ship, climbing up over the side from small boats, taking over the ship, a lot of fun!
All of this was to music, many many more pieces planned for next school year...one to a basketball song, with the balls included as they move :).
Modified modern dance will be incorporated as well next year, hopefully with large pieces of stretch fabric...very cool to watch!
